Probably not going to end up going this year, but there's enough Friday or Sunday to be tempted to go for a day.
Absolutely going Friday if it all possible. I've got a potential event floating over those dates but hope it moves.
Solid lineup this year with some bangers on the undercard. I also genuinely enjoy how this one is less nostalgia focused while still bringing out some older acts.
yeah not for me. Most of the bands I would see I’ve seen several times. Only bands I’ve never seen I’d want to is Texas is the reason and still remains. Might see if I can get guest passes for that day. But yeah it’s a miss for me
Iwrestledabearonce is the blurred out band right? With all the hinting on podcasts and online speculation about them getting back together to play this fest specifically
Friday: Speed, Delta Sleep, Gideon, Guilt Trip, Rolo Tomassi Saturday: Anberlin, Petey, Big Ass Truck, Initiate, Orthodox Sunday: Knocked Loose, Citizen, Converge, Harm’s Way, Boundaries, Johnny Booth, Many Eyes (maybe), Sanguisugabogg, Danza Definitely seems like if I were to go it should be Sunday. There are some bands that I’m shocked aren’t playing but I'm gonna assume that they have a reduced budget for artists because they have to pay Sloss more money or something.
I feel like this is much heavier than I expected. I'm happy for the hardcore crowd but this is definitely a "no" from me this year.
I do like a lot of hardcore bands (a lot of which were announced) but I do wish there was more of a mix. I like the blend between stuff like ERRA and Spiritbox next to stuff like Harm’s Way or Jesus Piece.
I was really hoping for Spiritbox. Yeah I'll probably go, but the lineup doesn't have me out of my mind stoked.
With Bear vs Shark, Minus the Bear, Gatsbys American Dream, The Receiving End of Sirens all active again recently I was really hoping for at least one of those. Seems they're leaning a lot more hardcore than what I was hoping for.
In the ff community there is a discussion about them saying 90 and there only being 88, and the one blank spot. And the promoters all commenting “oh we must have missed a band” “I’m so sorry to the band we didn’t list, we will have to figure this out.” So there is another I guess big band they will be announced at some point.
there’s absolutely no way i don’t think. if they couldn’t afford a dillinger reunion before, there’s just no way i feel like.
I saw the Aftershock line-up again this morning and got curious about what the crossover ended up being... Mom Jeans & Speed are Thursday Aftershock and Friday FF, Glare is Friday Aftershock and Saturday FF. Looking at the Aftershock lineup, there's probably 15-20 bands I expected to be on this that ended up not being on it.
