Yeah they better come with some heat when the full line up drops because they have been creating negative hype for me
Get the smaller acts out the way now so people will check them out then let the full lineup with big names get people really excited.
Like I said before, I don’t necessarily think it’s a great strategy but these are all smaller acts that have been announced except drain Zao and citizen but I mean at best citizen is second to last or last on the pond and drain is a shed headliner.
There’s some good stuff being announced, but with the Aftershock lineup dropping and it being 2 miles away from my apartment, looks like I’m skipping FF again for the second year :/ im sure I’ll still very much have fomo when this fest rolls around!!!
I couldn't tell you the exact reason but I Always felt like the Mongoloids were kinda underrated. I'm stoked to catch them this year at the NJ show. Definitely superrrr ignorant energy during their sets in the past lol
I feel like all those 2010’s hardcore bands never got their due which is why I’m fine with them all coming back. They were there when hardcore was at its lowest and these bands now were inspired by them, have heart, foundation etc
Have heart is a banger. Bane. Theres tons of bands from around that time though that all were way underrated. Guns up, think I care, blacklisted (the early albums) cold world, growing up in NJ was definitely something I don't take for granted between the talented musicians or all the venues before they closed most of them. I don't necessarily recall hardcore being at a low point so much as there was a much different attitude and atmosphere then. They need to start booking like VFW halls and shit again and do less shows that divide the bands from the audience. On broken wings is playing out here soon too and I'm super hyped for that. Another band that just fuxxxxx
