I checked out the few bands I had not heard of and they all exist already and do not have Scogin in them. Sorry man.
Yeah, I can see Saturday being kind of in the spirit of Furnace Fest but still not really. Sunday not at all though with a few obvious exceptions. (Norma Jean, Sleeping Giant, and a modern band like I Promised the World seems furnace Festy)
Mike Ziemer said on Instagram that Furnace Fest will be the only North American album play of Count Your Blessings
For the right price, I'm probably coming down for Saturday. We should go to that Italian place for lunch again, haha.
Betolla Burrata is undefeated because it absolutely defeated me during TDWP's set that night. Don't eat copious amounts of bread and cheese and walk 20k steps at a music festival, kids
that alone will get them the 10k-12k. It’s a shame, I really loved the old school metalcore, hardcore, emo, pop punk, ska thing they had going.
I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on the $80 single day ticket for Saturday. You’d pay $80 for seeing two of the top half bands on separate tours and I’ve got a free place to stay.
feels weird to be skipping the fest this year. went every year prior. i’m not nearly as upset with the lineup as a lot of people are because i feel like it still has quite a deep lineup of artists i’d go to see, and i’m actually extremely impressed that the fest finally has headliners that actually feel like headliners. the lineup on either day this year kicks the shit out of saturday last year, and hopefully they’ll do the right thing and remove slaughter to prevail. ultimately, they waited too long for me and i made other plans. dropping it down from 3 days to 2 days also kinda sealed the fate for me on this year.
