Uh, anyone else miss it looks like they also did a one day hip hop festival this year? https://www.instagram.com/magiccityflow?igsh=MTNtNHpyOTJ4b2Vpbg==
remember when they said sloss didn’t want to do it anymore, and we all were shocked that they let it happen. I think them agreeing to putting on all these festivals and the $$$ convinced sloss to get back in the game.
I did not read previous pages of the thread so I am very sorry if this has been discussed or revealed, but do we have any guesses who the yet unannounced band on Sunday is? The spot looks kinda long, my pop punk heart is holding out hope that it is The Wonder Years or The Starting Line - both who have shows coming up in the area before the festival so I would understand not announcing.
I hope this year is extremely successful so that next year the lineup could maybe appeal to me more and I could come back. I love what they’re doing this year. It’s just so many bands I don’t listen to.
I was asked by Chad to pick out “furnace fest type reunion” bands and this is the list I gave him starflyer 59 Twothirtyeight Dead poetic Holland/the lonely hearts Far-less Ivoryline Jonezetta Number one gun Queens club Strongarm Embodyment
I feel like this far into the Furnace Fest reboot they have probably approached all of those bands. We live in hope though!
that is what I told Chad. He asked me for “FF type reunions” and I was like I’m sure you’ve already hit up all the people I’ve asked
The fact that Finch has not played one of these yet really drives me up the wall. They're such a perfect fit.
So I guess Rockville in Daytona was really the reason they couldn’t announce Dillinger in Alabama. I know there are other bands playing both but I guess they saw Dillinger as special since they currently don’t tour.
