From what I’ve heard they’re having a hard time moving tickets and is dropping down to two stages. Full lineup isn’t even booked yet.
hmmm I don’t know, awhile ago they said they had already sold 75% of last years tickets without the lineup even being announced. A lot of signs pointing to some big headliners too that will move tickets, so not so sure about all this. I mean alone Coheed, Dillinger, and new found glory seem likely and there is still the AFI rumors out there.
The routing of the ADTR and Used tours announced today makes me think ADTR, TSSF, FYS, MG, Scowl, The Used, and SOTY might all be in play.
The Used def is right? ADTR seems on the cusp of being too big? They would be the biggest band to ever play furnace fest right?
Strung Out seemingly confirmed themselves. They have a festival announcement today at 10am pst. Decade ago I would have been excited but their performances the past few years have been rough.
A little underwhelming for me, I expected some bigger reunions and surprises for the last ever FF. It would be nice to see C&C and HTD though. Edit: Somehow I missed Blindside on the poster. I am all good now
Seems like the furnace fest community thinks that it’s gonna be three big drops? Although not seeing proof anywhere that was said
No one in Birmingham is more excited about Coheed. I am happy no matter what else happens. Very curious to see if they cater a setlist to the early albums.
Only people I feel for are the pop punk and emo crowd. They don’t have a ton yet, I think they will get a lot of the next batches, I feel like a lot of the shed is here already.
Same, I'm not holding my breath for enough announcements to prompt me to retain my ticket at this point. With flights/hotels/everything else, it's at least $1K for me.
If this was the final lineup and I didn't have a ticket then I would probably not go. I'm hoping for more emo and poppunk bands in the next wave but even if not, I will still go.
Yeah, I counted and they have announced 44 bands so far. Last year's lineup was 87 bands so this was half. Fingers crossed the rest are awesome.
Also that statement from them leaves the door open to have FF type one day festivals or shows in the future.
