He actually just came into the furnace fest community and wrote a whole seperate apology complete with denouncing people who did the “it’s just a joke” he has done a lot of research and looked at the comments for how he hurt people. Seems legit to me
Live footage of me explaining to my mom why Josh Scogin joining Norma Jean with the other original members on guitar was so special.
I was the dust was having its way with me throughout Sunday but it got much better Monday morning in my way back home.
I've woken up congested ever since FF, but it goes away once I'm up for an hour or so. Not unusually for me for spending a whole weekend outside and/or around tons of people.
I'm feeling fine besides the crushing depression that summer is officially over and Furnace Fest as we know it is probably over Feeling incredibly thankful for being able to go every year it's been back though and getting to see so many bands I never thought I'd see. Especially bands I used to watch play the original Furnace Fest in YouTube videos. Some really cool full circle moments. I'll never forget seeing the shed in person for the first time.
Officially from the forum, attendance for this year was just slightly under 2021 which was a bit over 10k.
This is probably TMI, but every night when I got back to my VRBO, I would blow my nose and the tissue was just black. That can't be healthy, hah! Luckily I am feeling fine still
Reading this thread is giving me flashbacks to when I saw Plain White T's in 2017 and it turned out to be a Color Run show. I was blowing chalk out of my nose for three days straight, which is still preferable to seeing Plain White T's.
Tried to watch this on the tv with my 2 year old and she said “no” and then “bit upsetting” after about 20 seconds. Ooooppps. I think it was the camera moving around too much as she’s usually ok with heavier music in the background.
I’m so happy, this year was a top five life experience for me and I’ve been so bummed at the thought of it never happening again
