Totally satisfied with the good Apollo play through plus the encore of AFHA and IKS. This was my second time seeing a festival Coheed show, and I normally go to their headliners, and it just feels a little different. The crowd isn’t anywhere near as engaged, especially during deep cuts, but that makes sense since it’s a more casual crowd. Better crowd than last time I went to a festival set of theirs though. That time fans were arguing in the crowd on who was a bigger fan based on who owned more of the comics.
I was laying lifeless on the ground and as soon as IKS started I shot back up and gave it everything I had left. Epic stuff.
I remember a few years ago they were doing that song at Riot Fest and there was a lightning storm going on so there was a bunch of lightning behind them as they played. It was the most epic thing I have ever seen.
Today is main stage day for me (mostly) ‘68 Static dress The beautiful mistake Boys night out Extol Norma Jean Blindside Underoath (if I’m still alive)
‘68 The Showdown Mindforce Anxious Juliana Theory Norma Jean Blindside Underoath Something like this. Definitely taking it easy until NJ/UO
I'm surprised The Juliana Theory is still having Ryan Seaman play drums for them after he stole all that money from Dallon Weekes
That misery signals line was BANANAS. I also feel like Mis Sig and no innocent victim should have traded spots
One step closer Static dress The showdown (I just want to see temptation come my way) Mindforce/18v (Leave for my kids fall festival at church) Norma Jean Blindside (probably chilling in my chair by the main stage) Underoath
About to hit the road from Atlanta. After lunch at Saws Juke Joint I’ll be at ‘68 static dress/codeseven partials The showdown Beautiful mistake/eighteen visions/ drug church partials Anxious Juliana theory Comeback kid NJ Blindside Underoath
Also, don’t be intimidated by the long line at back 40. Me and @Garrett went yesterday evening and the line moves very fast, I got my burger less than 5 minutes after ordering, and I’m sure the beer is way cheaper than it is inside the festival.
My plan for today: One Step Closer Static Dress The Beautiful Mistake Eighteen Visions Boys Night Out Norma Jean Blindside Underoath I'm flying out at 6:55 in the morning tomorrow, between the 3 hours of sleep I'll hopefully get and every bone in my body hurting I feel like it's worth it.
A lady stopped me at the hotel breakfast to ask me if my As Cities Burn hoodie meant I was a firefighter.
