I’m still annoyed my Hampton Inn in Irondale doubled in price over last year.

 

On the flip side you can go to our brand new Publix up the road if you need anything

EDIT: Also that Hampton Inn is about 8 minutes from my house, just on the other side of the hill in Irondale. Let me know if you want to drop your stuff off at my house so it isn't sitting in your car during the fest if you're concerned about that.

 

I should be alright parked next to all those boujee brunch places around the corner from the festival, but I appreciate the offer. I’m staying by the Target in Fultondale this year. There’s a good running trail up there that I’m gonna use on Saturday.

I’m arriving around noon. Def trying to chill before the fest. First band I want to see is oh sleeper so might go hang. Does anyone have a list of solid breweries and food?

I’m gonna try to sell some records at Seasick around 11am on Friday now that their guy has gotten back to me.

 

Back 40 is right across the street and I don't drink often so can't speak for their beer, but they have one of the best burgers in town, full stop. Come to think of it I might end up there to watch some of the AU/UGA game on Saturday.

 

Anyone know great vegan spots and/or specialty coffee in the area?

 

I think one of the local coffee shops sets up in the food area. I've definitely gotten decent coffee on site the last few years. Definitely not the guy to answer the Vegan recs.

 

June is the best coffee shop in town. It's downtown, and somewhat walkable from Sloss. About a mile. Depending on where you are staying I can recommend other coffee shops too. I'm a weirdo who roasts his own coffee/owns multiple grinders/has just about every brew method on hand so I know a thing or two about coffee in town, haha.

What do you mean? I'll just get mine at the gate tomorrow.

 

Where was I supposed to get them?

 

You can pick them up at workplay ahead of time. You could’ve gotten them last night or tonight, but I’m not too concerned about it, at least not enough to make an extra trip down there.

 

uhhhhh yeah definitely going to try and get that one.

 

I hope it's not some ungodly price like some of the exclusives the last few years.
