awesome, good looking out. It does bum me out slightly though, because I'm guessing coming nowhere close to selling out is why the fest is "ending" (I still think this continues on in some form or fashion).

I know the FF guys bought, or are now in charge of, a venue called Workplay in Birmingham. I wouldn't be surprised if this moves out of Sloss and becomes more of a Fest-like thing, where different venues in town are their own "stage". Easily could do this with Workplay, Iron City, Saturn, and Avondale.

 

Everyone here, if you find the ACB HOHW mobi strip before me on Friday, please please please please grab one for me/call me over, haha.

 

Be happy to help anyone hunt down vinyl, but I'm selfish and I'm not missing any bands to do it, haha.

Sure. I can accept things as they're handed to me and then redistribute, lol.

 

I just don’t know how into the trading cards people are. I know to some people it’s a big deal and some bands the numbers are smaller.

 

alright took your advice and went the stubhub route. $155 after fees, glad I waited (even though I'm sure I could've waited another day or two and tickets could be even cheaper). The ticket says they might check ID, but the website says that transferring tickets to a different name isn't necessary. Has anyone dealt with this for FF?

Seasick just said they'll have a FF catered drop on Friday. I got TFOT's Doppelganger at a really reasonable price last year. Open at 10 on Friday, 9 on Saturday, and 10 on Sunday. Any record collectors definitely go check it out.

Curious as well. I got surprised a couple times last year with sets I wasn't anticipating.

 

They’ve been practicing Plagues for the WWWY set, so I’m hopeful there will be a handful off there at furnace fest

Emery mentioned talked on the podcast about planning the heaviest set they can for Furnace. If that helps.

 

Aren't they TWE in full? They only have 40 minutes, they might not fit anything else beyond that album.

Edit: The album itself is longer than their set lol

 

If they play faster than the record and don't talk they might just make it through haha

 

Listening further on the podcast-they are going to add Thrash, Cheval Glass, and maybe studying politics. They are cutting a few TWE songs and medleying a few together.

 

Not gonna lie, that makes it easier to dip out early for all of Silent Planet. I've seen Walls and Studying Politics 10 times live.
