my high school band’s last show was opening up for before there was Roselyn

 

damn, fata is a band i havent thought of in a long time and now desperately need to see.

 

Had not thought about that band in a very very long time. Played a few shows with them back in the day. Had no idea they had new music?

 

Their set at FF21 was insane

 

I wish Benjamin would come back to front FATA

 

Just noticed it's actually on Wednesday. Sucks since I was planning on getting to town Thursday afternoon.

 

The gears are turning and I may be going to this now.......

Confirmed that they tried to get Horse The Band and they said no

 

Scogin turned down a 6 digit (and much higher than 100k) to do a OG Norma Jean, the chariot and 68 set

 

I believe the idea was a current Norma Jean set and a set made up of the ex Norma Jean guys that may or may not have been called Luti Kriss but yea Josh shut it down. He doesn’t want to live in the past

 

Despite how much I would pay for a The Chariot reunion I truly respect Scogins steadfast decision to shutdown all offers. Makes the few times I saw able to see them that much more special.

 

Woulda been a bloodbath for "Cutsman", a damn shame

 

Lee posted thirty reasons they have had from declines on their offer to bands to play

 

So happy I don’t have to come down a night early for either of these:

Both of these shows are actually pretty buck

 

Don’t get me wrong, they’re really good. But I’ve seen all the bands on them at previous FF that would move the needle for me and I’ve gotta save money somewhere.

 

is buck a good or a bad thing? i feel like there’s more on just these 2 shows that appeals to me than the entirety of Saturday at the actual fest.

plus the fact that there is going to be minimal overlap??? i NEED to get tickets to both shows!

 

Buck is a good thing lol. Mostly used in skater culture. Short for Buck Wild, I think. Synonymous with how you would use the word "Crazy" to explain something cool/exciting/good. Could be used in a sentence like, "That kick flip was buck" or "He was going buck on the mini earlier".
