This may sound incredibly bratty and spoiled, but I have no idea where else to say this: but I’m so sick of Anthony Green. Him and one of his projects always seems to pop up at shows and events I’ve gone to this past year. I call them “Anthony Green jumpscares”. Maybe it’s due to me living in Northern California, idk, but thanks for letting me vent lmao. stoked for folks who haven’t seen Saosin tho
they were a lot bigger with Cove too, the Green stuff gets more romanticism because it it Anthony Green.
I think Anthony just has to stay busy in order to keep his head straight. Circa was a huge part of his life and now he need to fill that void.
I just noticed the last three announcements were all different colors. Wonder if it's stage indication.
Curious about the verbiage used in the Saosin announcement. “Original lineup.” Does that mean Justin and Pat are playing with them for this fest? Did they ever bury the hatchet with Justin since his departure/when he joined The Used? Nostalgic lineup solely for the fest or is Phil done? I feel like Alex has been primarily known as the “drummer” of the band for most of the tenure and he plays the TTN tracks great, so I don’t know why they’d bring Pat in now.
To be honest, I don’t think either sound good singing each other’s songs. Even though I love Anthony/like the Cove era of Saosin too.
this one felt like it was more hype than bite because they played FF21 but still cool, i didn’t catch their set then so maybe i can check it out now.
I spend so much time reading up on this festival and feeling so excited to see bands like Terminal come back for it, yet live with the fact that I know I’m not headed to Alabama for a music festival any time soon.
