Going to this for the first time this year, granted only Saturday.

Does merch rotate per day or is it one big ass tent with everything?

 

All the artists change, but fest and vendor merch will be the same all weekend. All set up under the bridge down the middle of the venue.

60 days! Here’s hoping we end up having 2021 weather and not 2022 weather. This summer is killer.

 

So I may be able to go to this. Any tips for places to stay, commuting, and anything else I may need to know?

I’m at the Irondale Hampton Inn (for the third year) and it’s really good. Street parking is great so don’t pay for it.

 

I would go if Detroit --> Birmingham flights weren't $600

Saw in the Facebook group that they're trying to finalize set times and get them out earlier this year. Should help me prepare for the brutal conflicts Friday afternoon.

I’m excited, but also that seems seems like too much of a good thing. I’m probably in the minority, but it makes it feel a little less special.

That's cool. Random question but what would be on people's wishlists for vinyl drops?

Also what did they have in the last two years since I wasn't really paying as much attention to furnace fest during the last two years?

2022 had a ton. Spiritbox, Fiddlehead, Pedro the Lion are the only ones coming to mind. Three more solid state ones

 

I’m hoping for War All The Time, Come Now Sleep, Hell or High Water, Redeemer, and a few others out of this year’s bands.

 

Some Extol exclusives/represses would be what I would most likely be excited for I think.

 

Yeah I’m curious what the Unoriginal and Seasick releases will be this year

 

Just booked my flight! I'll be in town 9/20-9/25, looking forward to hanging out and trying a new fest!
