Here is a list of Solid State Bands on Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid_State_Records Might be useful for fun speculation.
Haste the Day - When Everything Falls Blindside - About a Burning Fire (or one of their first two albums actually on Solid State) Dead Poetic - New Medicines No Innocent Victim - Tipping the Scales Maybe the first Destroy the Runner album? I think those have the highest chance. So I think you could be right. The first Embodyment album would be interesting but their drastic genre shift makes me very skeptical. I would love to see the first two Extol albums but I doubt they would be given an hour long slot as they were never that popular, nor am I sure how well that type of metal would go over on Furnace Fest in 2022.
Thanks for keeping the speculation going. Do you know if any of the previously announced bands besides Elliott have an album play in the works?
Copeland should be back with Beneath Medicine Tree if all the bands that dropped last year are rebooked
Is it someone from Songs From the Penalty Box Volume 7? Lol. Because my only thoughts would be one of those or Cry of the Afflicted playing the Unveiling if it is late 2000s. Maybe Gwen Stacy? Various - Songs From The Penalty Box Vol. 7: Solid State
TECHNICALLY no, but they are relatively inactive. I would lose my mind if wither Cry of the Afflicted or Sever Your Ties were playing.
Would be here for Mychildren Mybride playing Unbreakable since I missed the anniversary tour they did for it
I said something about them a while ago on the hardcore thread and someone said “idk if they’re ‘back’ but I know they’re doing something this year in Philly”. They didn’t elaborate or say how they might know that, but i take that to mean they might play This Is Hardcore. If that’s true, I’d imagine furnace fest is possible as well
I'm really torn between going to this or to that other festival in NC that happens a few weeks later... I guess I'll wait for the rest of the lineup but right now the other one is more appealing to me.
