At their peaks, TBS was magnitudes larger than NFG. They probably have around the same type of draw now... but I don't think NFG is a headliner if TGI is not a headliner.
Okay cool, thanks for the information. Neither is really on my radar except for what I hear on this site. Thanks for letting me know.
The only metal bands that I think would have a similar pull to Killswitch Engage and Underoath that could fall under the influential category would be As I Lay Dying (Fuck Tim) which I doubt due to the obvious controversy, Coheed and Cambria, which I'm not even sure could be classified as metal, and maybe, Between the Buried and Me but I doubt they have the pull Killswitch Engage or Underoath do. Neurosis? Lol. That would be a pipe dream but sick. Sunny Day Real Estate or Jimmy Eat World as other people have posted makes a lot of since for the emo headliner. Punk headliner could be a lot of different things but I bet we will know it when we see it announced. I know it would not be this but Bad Religion, Neurosis, and Sunny Day Real Estate would be sick headliners.
The Dillinger Escape Plan maybe for metal headliner??? Not sure if them not doing anything since 2017 would give them enough of a bump for a headliner status
Ok....Botch maybe??? Like if it's billed as their first performance back? Really stumped thinking of who it realistically could be
Do we think headliners are not able to be announced due to other festival commitments or because of a rare reunion they are trying to pull some strings on? Or is it just because the artists are asking for quite a bit of money and furnace fest is still working on scrounging it up?
I’m guessing maybe Spring touring plans? Like, for example, if one was Coheed, they just announced a tour this week that they probably want to sell tickets to first.
