I'm not gonna knee-jerk react, as 60 bands can provide a lot of course correction... but this line-up does almost nothing for me.
tickets are over $300 this year with fees. i dont know how much they where last year or what the early bird prices where
I am fairly disappointed as well. Only band on this lineup that I really want to see and still haven't is AOF... Out of all 30 there are 5-6 bands I would actually pay money to see. Perhaps this year I will stay home and save after spending so much on WWWY. Edit: Wow, the prices went up too.
Definitely going to this. AOF, Advent, Bleeding Through, American Nightmare, Misery Signals, Integrity, Earth Crisis, Pedro the Lion, Shadows Fall, Stretch Arm Strong....count me in. I have no doubt there's gonna be at least 30 more bands that I love added
ironically enough the band that I am the most interested in is New Found Glory lol. I will probably wait until February wave to see what else pops up
I personally do not care about The Ghost Inside whatsoever, but even that bias aside I am a bit surprised to see them listed as a headliner right now. I imagine they probably won't be a headliner in the final lineup? But who knows, just was weird to see a band not from the era this festival is all about as one of the top three.
Can’t miss: American Nightmare ————- Want to watch: Advent Pedro the Lion Misery Signals Roadside Monument —————— Will watch if time: New Found Glory Elliot Integrity
I'm confused by this to as... I've never heard of them until the below line-up was dropped: And they're top line there, too. (The share a promo team, so I suspect a few of these bands will be announced in the upcoming waves.)
Underoath - Converge - Walls of Jericho Taking Back Sunday - Glassjaw - Further Seems Forever Killswitch Engage - Turnstile (replacing Andrew WK day of) - The Get Up Kids Those were the nine stage headliners last year. There's a fourth stage this year, too.
If they announced three "headliners" with each wave, that would make a lot of sense. Seeing New Found Glory in that shed would be absolutely insane (but would also never happen).
yeah they were decently popular in the metalcore world earlier in the 2010’s and then they had a bus accident where they almost died and the drummer lost a leg.
Tgi had an hour at riot fest last year and played 15 songs. It was pretty insane. The headline shows from 2019 and last year where 18 or 19 songs
did you go last year? That small stage had the most bizarre order/line-up compared to how the other two felt more themed
