Not going to be able to make it his year. Last year was a treat, but work gets in the way. I could make it late Friday to catch some late sets prob 5pm or later, but I won't go through the trouble. At least I saw Alexisonfire earlier in the year. While there's some stellar acts here, there's not enough draw for me for an entire day on any of the days. The only band that I'm a bit aching that I can't see is Spirtbox. Saw them with UO early i the year but damn I adore that band. Stoked to watch all the Youtube footage that will be posted.
The solid state FF vinyl exclusives WILL NOT be pressed after FF. Also FF2023 is confirmed happening according to my sources
I don’t want any of those exclusives, but if anyone here needs an opportunity for more than one, I’ll gladly help you try.
I saw them comment somewhere recently and forgot to screenshot for you. I am 99% sure they said they will be allowing “small camelbacks” this year.
Yeah, I saw that, but I was thinking that meant like one of these. I've got one of these... which is way more of a normal backpack. I bought the one I have for a music festival in 2006 and it's been worth every penny. Basically how I survived multiple 99 degree Warped Tours.
i did for this year. Last year we parked about 4 blocks away in one of the lots. This year since I’m coming in from Atlanta and back in one day, decided to spring for it just for the ease.
is anyone interested in carpooling? I'm driving from Louisville, KY on 9/23 then leaving after FF for Austin. would be interested in splitting gas + driving duties, I do have a car
I listened to "The New Scene" podcast where they interviewed the founder of furnace fest and he basically said the plan was to do a 4 year run to mirror the original 4 year run of 2000-2003.
I don’t think it’s been posted, Gideon/my child, My bride/ I am terrified are having an unofficial after show Friday night at the zydeco.
Living here and not getting to go to this is kind of a bummer. Next year. Let me know if anyone has any questions about Birmingham (food, places to stay, places to avoid, etc.).
I have a friend selling a three day pass at a discount (not sure for how much) if that's something you might need.
More than money its just phase of life. I have a 1.5 year old and its just not in the cards to not be around for the majority of the day 3 days in a row.
