With the current iterations of Mastodon and In Flames being a bit out of place, (I know they both played back in the day but their sounds have changed quite a bit.) do we think they will do old school sets?
I hope so! Loved In Flames when I was younger and never got to see them so would love to see them play that material. Very surprised to see both bands on here, very cool honestly.
Yeah, if In Flames plays a heavy pre-2002 setlist I would be ecstatic. Same goes for a Mastodon set heavy on their 2000s material.
On a side note, do you know if the Pedro The Lion and late 2000s Solid State Bands album plays still planned or did those fall through? Either way, which Solid State Bands was/is it?

Really thought TREOS would be on here. Also bummed that The Chariot isn't happening, but that was a long shot anyway.
yeah, if they’re going to keep this thing going every year for the foreseeable future, they’re probably even trying to pace themselves with some of that wish list stuff. I would imagine most of those will come. ...except the chariot. that one seems like it’s never going to happen.
my claim to 'fame' is that TREOS played at my parents house as an opener for my crappy high school bands release show. My dad just built a new deck, and I asked if we could have a show there when done to celebrate, and my parents said sure, as long as you let the neighbors know (so off I went with flyers to tell neighbors that there would be some crumby local rock playing all day Saturday). They had no idea that TREOS were as big locally as they were, and that they'd be bringing full PA gear and a decent amount of people. If I remember right, it was before Casey joined or at least when Ben was still the lead singer so they weren't huge at the time by any means, but definitely one of the biggest bands in the local scene. My parents were super cool about it, and just 'monitored' to make sure no one was drinking beer or anything (we were 16) and even when the police came, it was no big deal as long as we turned it off at a reasonable time and they actually hung out for a bit. They were just making sure it wasn't a house party without supervision and as soon as my parents said they approved it, it was all good. We had random people turn up from outside the neighborhood who had followed the sound, but again, after my parents spoke up, no one was really too annoyed. The ONLY time my Dad got pissed was when Ben stood on the deck railing. That was the only thing that went too far haha. That and that they weren't happy when they found out we paid a band and lost money. But it was a free house show and we wanted people to come see our show (and of course we had TREOS play first as it was our album release show and it thinned out and only our friends stayed). AH memories.
Yeah I don't think Scogin will ever do any reunions truly. That being said, I would probably travel anywhere in the world to see OG Norma Jean if it ever did happen.
