Heard rumors of an Advent after show

 

If there is an Advent show I am going to be on my worst possible behavior. Been wanting to see them for so long

 

Only time I've seen Advent live, it was in a vape shop that was probably only like 200ft deep by 50ft wide. I got punched in the nose the second the set started and bled profusely for half of their set.. I'm wrestling with wondering if this is a good memory or a bad one.

that's my weekend. I hope I can at least do the majority of these things. I have a feeling I'll want to end up staying at some sets when the time comes and skip some of the other artists - it's going to be really nice to not arrive until around 3 on Sunday.

Not going to lie, this festival has the most conflicts I’ve ever seen. It’s a weird strategy to book a crazy stacked lineup, but have tons of bands with crossover fanbases playing at the same exact time to try to not face capacity issues. More than half of the bands I’d want to see are conflicting with each other lol

 

Also... why isn't the levelx stage starting as early as the other two?

Gideon dropped and are replaced by Across Five Aprils. That's a net positive for me. Hope more bands don't drop though.

 

Thursday and TBS both played covers at Riot and I’m like why are you doing this the sets are already short?!

 

They both did this in Michigan too, so I would imagine they're probably staying in the set. The Thursday one was kind of cool imo, but I absolutely did not want to hear TBS play a Weezer song.

 

Yeah I kind of do hope Thursday keep that Bruce cover in.

 

Flying in tomorrow, super excited. Gonna drive around for a bit on Thursday and then go to the preshow to see Across Five Aprils and then go to Labeled Fest once they are done. Staying at the Ramada by the airport. Still trying to recover from Riot Fest but so far so good.

So all 3 days on the HeartSupport Stage bands end at 2:05 and there's only 5 minutes between sets before the next band starts. It's 15 or 20 minutes everywhere else, that can't be right?

 

They might be making Heart Support artists backline.. I'd still guess it will be longer, but maybe 7-10 minutes if everything is run suuuuuuper well. But I would guess closer to 15 minutes haha.

 

For those who can't attend

 

Music to my ears. Literally.

 

Seems like the 1:30 to 2:05 time slot might be labeled wrong. Makes more sense if that slot ran from 1:20 to 1:55.

 

Yeah 15 minutes seems pretty standard for backlining, 5 minutes just can't happen. I made a comment about it in the FB group too, a moderator said "It's an error that has been brought to the attention of the organizers & will be addressed on the days"

 

Would love if they addressed it before the fest since the schedule is already pretty stressful.

 

This is worded strangely, because it says it will be streamed, but then it says that they will announce the streaming schedule AFTER the fest - Guess it's not "live" streaming.

 

Dumb question but does anyone know if there is re-entry ability?

 

Surprisingly yes there is apparently re-entry all weekend.

 

Safe travels everyone! I'm so glad this is finally here & actually happening. Weather looks great but don't forget to wear sunscreen, whether you're drinking or not make sure to eat food & drink lots of water (camelbaks are allowed, you don't have an excuse), & generally speaking stay safe!! I'm gonna be wearing a black tie that's also a beer coozie all weekend so stop & say hi if we cross paths
