Yeah it’s definitely not being cancelled. I think it’s just a question of whether it will be vax/neg test only or not. Being that it’s in Alabama, it doesn’t bode well
Well if they were planning on putting a vaccination proof mandate, they have dropped the ball on the moderna option. Because today would’ve been your last day to get your first shot of moderna so you would be able to get the second in time for the show. Gonna have to be Pfizer(which also only has about a week left in the time frame) or J&J now.
I heard from a member of a band playing that they are going to have a mask mandate for what that’s worth
I can't imagine a mask mandate actually being enforced. It would be SO MUCH easier to just check for a vaccine/negative test at entry
I’m still very much on the fence but given the ticket, flights, and Airbnb, you can catch me there double masked up and hanging in the back drowning myself in sanitizer away from everyone else babyyyyy
I'm really glad they finally made this decision. Nothing about that statement says that masks will be required outside though?
You’re crazy if you’re going to an indoor show without a mask especially one in Alabama. You should be thankful they are taking such precautions.
Maybe they’ll move Norma Jean to the main days of the festival and I can switch to the Emery/ACB pre-show
I'm pretty sure that some of the bands on the fest said they will never be on the same bill as NJ after last year's fiasco (I know ETID is one of them). Sunny Day Real Estate look like they are up for something and their singer is performing anyway so that would be a great replacement.
Cory Brandan has publicly flirted with a lot of bullshit right-wing topics before that as well, but the BLM thing was the last straw for a lot of people, myself included.
I just let out the heaviest sigh, haha. I shouldn't be surprised, as I live in the Deep South and stuff like this is a regular occurrence around me, but nevertheless.
