Yeah trust me I'm wrestling with that EXACT thought

 

the Emery show has a party afterwards so coming there to finish the night will be a great option

 

That Emery pre-show line up is unbelievable.

Would love to see Terminal.

 

Anyone else nervous about COVID with this fest? Def chilling in the cut masked up if I go

 

I started thinking about it today and immediately got anxiety. I have so many events in the next 2 months, I will be crushed if all of them will be cancelled.

 

I honestly think out door events have a less likely chance of getting cancelled/postponed. Also check out the tour thread some good points about Covid and shows are in there

 

The promoters were live on Monday on Facebook, here’s a recap of things they discussed

 

Three stages starting at noon… you’re looking at like 20-25 minute sets for the first 3-4 bands on each stage at that point, yeah?

Lack of proof of vaccines and masks not being required has me seriously raising my eyebrows.

 

Riot fest in Chicago is requiring proof of vax or a negative Covid test. And metro is going to vaxxed only for all upcoming shows. Negative tests won’t be acceptable

 

Negative tests shouldn’t be acceptable. This pandering to unvaccinated people is absolutely ridiculous.

 

It’s a festival in Alabama… it shouldn’t be surprising these things aren’t being required (yet).

I’ve been in contact with one of the promoters and they are discussing vax requirements

 

People are absolutely going to be fucking pissed if they do that, but personally I don't know if I can feel morally good about still going if they don't.

 

Thank fucking god. And anybody who cries about it can cope

 

Just read that they capped festival capacity at 10k, which is half of what the venue can hold.

 

Where did you read that?

I don't think they were shooting for anything even close to full capacity.

 

In a Twitter interaction they had with someone asking about capacity

 

Wasnt the cap originally 3k?

 

One of the stages is indoor and that stage has a 3k cap.
