Hopesfall posted that 90% of the 3-day tickets are sold and we are 3 months away... Looks like it's going to be a packed house
My God I'm so close to pulling the trigger on tickets. I'm debating on just doing Fri and Sat though. A) To save a small bit of cash and B) man that's a long weekend of music and I'm trying to train for a 100 mile ultramarathon so I need to be running in my free time.
Loved listening to the recent Chad Johnson episode on the Labeled podcast - just so much nostalgia. It reminded me how much I loved this era of music and I found the conversations about the original Furnace Fest, as well as this anniversary one, to be insightful.
come do a long run with me and then we’ll be the cool old dudes sitting on the ground relatively near a stage
Here I am hoping I can get through one day of this without my back or knees dying and you guys are talking about running before the festival... Makes me wonder where I went wrong
I don’t think I can get off work at 5 and make the drive to Birmingham in time to see Norma Jean. But Scogin and Weiss are both in town for the festival so
I was just thinking the other day how much I wish Norma Jean (and The Chariot reunion) were at this fest.
Anyone has the code and can't go? They sent it out to VIP buyers? I'm going to pay a hefty fee to change the flight but I can't miss Across Five Aprils
I bought VIP a while back so they emailed out the code today, there's still potential afterparties to be announced based on the vip package description.
My hotel doesn't have availability for my room that Thursday night... hmm. I forgot Birmingham is an hour behind, so I can realistically make the 4 hour drive and catch Norma Jean if I just leave work an hour early. Gonna buy the ticket and figure the hotel out later.
They re-emailed and said the Norma Jean show is on-sale tomorrow for VIP, the Zao one was on-sale today though
