Good haul this week. I don't do any early rise or flipper hunting. This was just all good luck! - Found Immortan Joe and Imperator Furiosa Chases at Target - Found another Killmonger Glow at Target and traded it for Earth Day Wall-E - Funkos were 40% off at my Toys R Us, so I grabbed Bruce Banner for about $7.50 - Got a great deal at Box Lunch online with their $25 off $75 coupon that I got with my last Infinity War order. Spent about $54 for finally getting a Deadpool, adding Shuri and Nakia to my Marvel collection and got 4/5 of the Incredibles with Violet turning out to be a Chase. With that, I also got another $15 off $30 starting at the beginning July, which should match up perfectly with getting a deal on Ant-Man and Wasp! Definitely recommend Box Lunch though. For every $10 spent, they will get a meal out through Feeding America. It's owned/run by the same company as Hot Topic, but they do well in having more selection and great deals/coupons. Everything ships perfectly too. Sadly, I'm probably not done because my store should get in the purple glow Black Panther tomorrow.
I really want the Tom/Jean Ralphio Parks ones to complete my set but it's so damn expensive to get it imported to UK
Not sure, thanks for the help though! Think you'd have to price up postage to Scotland to be fair but that seems to be the mad expensive part.
I can handle rip off postage, its the import VAT & Royal mail handling fee that just kills the deal. Pretty much adds a third to the cost of anything itself.
It is a bastard, I work for Royal Mail and have been stung many times, I will say though that the handling fee is what we get charged by customs and excise. The easiest way around it is to get the sender to mark the value at $10 although most companies won’t do that as it is technically illegal. Luckily I have a friend who works for Thomas cook and he gets a lot of trips to Orlando so I can get most things ordered to collect in store and he picks them up for me.
! Don't know where you are in Scotland but all I have is Glasgow town centre mainly and although the Funko selection in comic stores are okay, it's not the most varied... Also; Uncle Tam!!!
It seems like they're about to make a big push into Europe. Tons of the old exclusives seem to be getting over there now. Beyond that, I heard Funko was changing up their distribution methods, so maybe they'll get quicker and add volume to shipment outside the US.
Glad to see a fellow Celtic fan here! Section 101 loyal for years. Forbidden Planet and that Geek Retreat is all I can think of.
Maybe that's the one I'm thinking about, across from the Gallery? Forbidden Planet can have a good collection but not as much as the US obviously.
