This thread bump made me rewatch some favorites.

The scrobbles bit will always make me belly laugh.

 

there used to be a time where I could watch the creatures, funhaus, lets play/achievement hunter and game grumps

now I have nothing but the occasional streamer or speed runner :(

 

Burnie acquired the brand for now. No official announcement of any former talent coming back yet.

 

apparently it doesn't include the sub-brands or whatever, so no funhaus, achievement hunter, etc.

whirlwind of emotions when i saw the RT post and immediately saw it doesn't include FH lol

 

Doesn’t mean they won’t be reached out to/be in content. The possibility is at least there now

 

fair, but from everyone's post FH content i get the feeling they didn't really enjoy working for RT towards the end..though i guess that could be more attributed to WB/Discovery meddling and the way they handled the adam stuff? idk.

i'm also not really familiar with RT itself or any other property aside from FH which i also came to very late so what do i know lol.

 

RT enabled a lot of shitty behavior

 

I think a lot of it did stem from WB having too much oversight. But there were aspects that were toxic/crunch in the animation department for sure. Burnie has been gone a while, so I do have more confidence in him coming in and creating something better then it was in the last few years before the shutdown.

 

If anyone else ever listened to James and Patrick's Trash for Trash podcast, they confirmed that they were able to acquire the rights to it. Said they've been to busy to bring it back.
