Watched Jacob's stream last night and that man should never have to be upset. Just being a sweetheart the entire time going "Today was a rough day. I'm going to build some gundams and hang out with you guys".
Lol James telling all the YouTube members to just start downloading any member video they can if they want.
I'm just glad this isn't an abrupt end like Super Best Friends and we still have some time with them.
was a huge Funhaus fan in college. haven't watched them regularly in several years, but it's sad to see them go.
Watching Alanah’s fallout stream from the other day and she mentions Charlotte will be editing this down to some “funhausy” highlight videos for her. Warms my cold heart lol.
i know they were apparently on a roll content-wise the past couple years, and aside from some gimmicky stuff, i really enjoyed most of what i saw of their latter material. reminded me of their early days. just hoping WB doesn't delete the channel. i know there are efforts to archive everything.
I've been holding out on watching their final stuff partly because I just don't want it to be over and Im sad. Watching the farewell video holding back tears, Im gonna miss this group a ton and I feel bad for taking them for granted the past few years as I fell off watching them regularly. No one did it like them between machinima, inside gaming, and funhaus. An incredible run.
Man, the end of Funhaus really hit me too. It’s always tough when something you’ve followed for years winds down. I used to binge their videos in college, and it felt like hanging out with friends who were always cracking the best jokes. Seeing the team evolve over the years, then sharing that emotional final stretch, was bittersweet. I’ve also been debating whether to watch the last few videos. For archiving their old videos, you might want to look into different converters and tools for saving content. I’ve used this MPG converter before, it’s super straightforward if you need to back anything up for future nostalgia. Could come in handy for keeping those Funhaus memories alive. I don't think i've watched anything since Bruce left tbh. The super long best of videos on YouTube usually satisfy my itch to rewatch when I get it.
alanah is doing a monthly-ish movie review/filmhaus type podcast with james, elyse, and ryan now, and i think starting another pod with jacob and rahul. both are/will be available on one of her YT channels but i believe she said patreon subscribers get the full episodes complete with tangents and whatnot while the YT channel will get shorter more concisely edited videos that pertain more to the topic.
