It’s crazy how they became the biggest band of 2012 and then just.. poof. 2012 was such a great/interesting year for the Rock genre (very generalized..’i Know) Like if you would’ve told me then that Fun, Gotye, Neon Trees, Tokyo Police Club, Of Monsters and Men, and The Black Keys would be basically non existent 6-8 years later, I would’ve thought you were crazy
I really loved his solo album. It wasn't as good as either fun. album or Dog Problems but I still liked it more than like 95% of music I hear.
I would give anything for new music from him in any form. It's sad to see him kinda beat up on himself on Twitter constantly even if he's joking most of the time
Yeah, I was just being mean hearted for no reason. Cause I really do miss his voice/style whenever I listen to his songs, but that solo album just fell flat for me. And then he kinda Just disappeared, but I’d be down for new fun. (Even Without Antonoff) or Format. Or even just a better solo album again. He has too much talent to just hang it up and move on imo
Hearing Orange Spider by mewithoutYou never doesn’t blow my mind. It still seems like the weirdest thing in the world to me that Andrew not only worked on a mewithoutYou album but also brought some of that work to fun.
Did he ever talk about The Format this way? Just seems weird that Fun. was so small for so long, then they blew up and imploded.
oh lord, he changed his name to No, I'm Good and his bio to "I can't stand myself." I honestly can't tell how much of this is his sense of humor anymore
