I just spent over a week listening to all of Fugazi's discography, including Minor Threat and Rites Of Spring. Ever since that "Nothing Feels Good" emo book came out I've always been intrigued by them but never fully dove into all their material. Needless to say, incredible stuff. I made a 90 minute mix of my absolute favorite songs, by album.. Minor Threat Seeing Red, Straight Edge, Screaming At A Wall, Minor Threat, Out Of Step, Guilty Of Being White, Steppin' Stone Rites Of Spring Spring, Deeper Than Inside, For Want Of, Theme, Remainder, Persistent Vision, End On End, All Through A Life Fugazi 13 Songs Waiting Room, Bulldog Front, Bad Mouth, Suggestion, Lockdown Repeater Merchandise In On The Kill Taker Facet Squared, Public Witness Program, Cassavetes Red Medicine Do You Like Me, Bed For The Scraping, Back To Base End Hits Place Position, Five Corporations, Foreman's Dog, Guilford Fall Furniture EP Hello Morning The Argument Epic Problem, Life And Limb
HYLI Vol. LXVI- The Acacia Strain and Fugazi @Glaurung somehow had never heard Fugazi so i made him a playlist of their tracks for the newsletter this week
Been listening to Red Medicine for the first time and a couple months back I listened to In On The Kill Taker for the first time. Band is the best and I don’t know why I never listened to those albums. Some of their best songs
I’ve always liked 12 Songs and Repeater, but all their other material kept me at arm’s length. I don’t know what mood I was in last night, but it started clicking and I’m excited!
I don't think we're ever getting a Fugazi reunion unless a majority of members end up really needing the dough. Tough to imagine how they could tour in the current age and keep ticket prices down at the sort of level they'd be collectively OK with.
