i'm so bummed i didn't ever get to see Fugazi live...

 

have you heard live versions of "Shut the Door" or "Promises"? they blow the studio versions out of the water

 

did you ever have a chance?

 

Looking at their tour history, it looks like they played in SLC a few years ago, but I probably couldn't go because it was a school night or I didn't realize they were actually playing up here. So yeah, I guess I had a chance at one point, but didn't know about it until years later.

 

ah gotcha. not so bad then, it's not like you knew and passed it up. I was ~10 the last time they came to my town so there was no awareness. and I didn't know/get into them until 6+ years later

how does it go? read the 33 1/3 for Doolittle and the one for Loveless and they were very different experiences, and it seems people pick approaches that suit the band to an extent
