David Comes To Life is such an unreal record

 

I keep on trying to and can't get into them. Love Damien's podcast and I feel like if I start with the right thing I will. Please help me.

 

David Comes To Life got me hooked?

 

Yeah David, although their longest, is probably their most accessible

 

Chemistry is their peak IMO - Magic Word is the mindblowing

 

picked up David Comes To Life on vinyl today. went WAY too long without having it on wax!!!

Fucking awesome band.

 

I am listening to David Comes To Life for the first time right now. Three songs in, I'm loving this. Vocals are not what I'm used to, that's the only thing I'm not fully into right away, but I think I'm quickly coming around.

 

UGH these videos are sooooo goooood.

 

Chemistry - balances their more punk sound with their more experimental edge, but is also melodic and anthemic enough to hook you up

 

Pumping "Sun Glass" through my car speakers on a beatiful sunny day. perfect.

 

New EP/Single/something. Side A is 15 min, side B is 30 min and features Tanya Tagaq (if people don't know her, she's a singer from Nunavut who won Polaris in 2014).

 

I always enjoy how this band looks like 5 legal assistants and a shirtless bouncer. I don't dig this style of music generally and yet I can put on a full Fucked Up album without regrets.
