same aside from glass boys, that’s their easiest to just toss on and listen to whenever so I still listen to it somewhat often
In love with this album, but I had to delete Mechanical Bull. Also kind of wish the album was sequenced differently so the ending doesn't feel so...un-fucked up.
Finally finished. This is pretty incredible, a ton to dig in. I appreciate the different vocals throughout the record. Makes Damian's parts pop even more
I've always had weird feelings about people re-doing sequencing in their libraries, but never before have I felt such a strong need to change things around as I have with this album. I love the songs so much, but I want a more dynamic ride so that the back half of the album (which is mostly amazing) doesn't comparatively feel like it lost steam. Here's what I'm working with. TBD if it holds up or not. 1. None of Your Business Man 2. Raise Your Voice Joyce 3. Two I's Closed 4. Tell Me What You See 5. Normal People 6. The One I Love Will Come For Me 7. Torch to Light 8. Talking Pictures 9. House of Keys 10. Dose Your Dreams 11. Came Down Wrong 12. Living in a Simulation 13. I Don't Wanna Live in This World Anymore 14. How to Die Happy 15. Accelerate 16. Joy Stops Time Edit: Nuts...DYD into Came Down Wrong into Living in a Simulation doesn't seem to flow. Also, kind of thinking IDWLITWA could be a good opener. Maybe I've got it all fucked up now. Edit edit: How to Die Happy into Accelerate is great.
This album introduced me to Miya Folick and I am incredibly grateful for that. I've got to spend some more time with this as a whole, I really liked it when I first heard it but I haven't gone back much.
