I’m still working my way through Horizon Forbidden west before I play this…even worth looking at a guide or should I just go in cold? I’ve beaten every other From game over the last 2 years so I’m not new to it

 

go in cold, the game is very much about exploration and little surprises. It’s also pretty hard to break NPC questlines for the first 75% of the game I’d say

 

once you beat the first main demi god it feels like the game is super informative on what to do to get to the end

 

I haven’t played since Sunday.

next run of the game I’m literally just going to make my vigor and endurance be 99 and then strength and dex can be like 20 gotta keep it classy

 

read up on soft caps, I think the one for Vigor is at 40 and then 80, basically you're hitting dimishing returns. Don't go past 80 vigor.

almost like we’re on the same wavelength tonight. switched to that armor immediately tonight. been going through the lakes and finally made it to this magic ass castle.

the red wolf had some interesting attacks, but one of the easier bosses so far. My bloodhound fang is now +4 and my dismounter is +10.

 

the entire critical path is a cakewalk until you hit the capitol imo.

margit was the only really hard boss fight in the first 2/3 of the game.
