whats everyones favorite combo for the wondrous flask? i usually just equip the one that heals half my health and another that shields from one attack

 

Shield's the one for me, almost non-negotiable.

2nd one usually the one that heals me if I am near death, so I can drink it before the fight.

 

go to minor erdtrees and kill the bosses there you’ll get different effects for your physick flask

 

two damage negation effects one just for the next hit and one that sustains physical damage negation for a little bit dk how long. it was necessary for malenia

just kidding doing the one in Weeping Peninsula when I’m off later

 

I just use the pouch for calling torrent and my favorite summons. idk what I'd do if I couldn't hop on torrent mid field boss fight, especially any dragons

 

tried putting HP flask on the y menu and yeah I need the quick access of just being able to quickly tap a single button to heal. y+up takes too long

 

it’s almost like this game would really benefit from some sort of additional tutorial/explanations/teaching. Is that something we should discuss?

 

both of those things are clearly explained in the game though are they not? I had no issue with either.

Even if you skip the explanation you can go view it again in your inventory if you want. We don't need more heavy handed forced tutorials for every mechanic in the game.

 

I kept Torrent, the lantern and the Snap gesture in my pouch. Probably should’ve put a flask there too but whatever

 

nah I just didn’t care to learn about the wonderous lmao

 

flipping through my other items takes way longer

 

I was just kidding because I know it’s been discussed plenty both here and elsewhere

 

I saw the wondrous flask and I was like cool an extra health flask and that’s all I thought about it

 

Up: Spirit Ash summon
Left: Torrent
Right: Flask of Wondrous Physick
Down: Whatever grease I want to use in a given fight

 

Just like this game to introduce an even larger hand spider enemy

 

I only flip to other items when I need them

number of times I've gotten fucked because I forgot to move off the daggers or something is annoyingly high, but I tried a few minutes of instead putting it on the y menu and that was way worse

 

I wasn’t gonna buy this until I finished Horizon but…… here we go!

 

I got used to it in about 5 minutes and stopped dying because I was flipping past all my items and spirit ashes before I could heal which was happening constantly so /shrug

 

also I can quickly use both flasks and my physick if I need it all at the same time super quickly if it calls for it which it very often does

 

Found a whole other area in Leyndell I didn’t explore

 

the sewers? I didn’t do that til after I beat the game lol completely missed it
