there’s nothing more humbling than beating a boss and then proceeding to get your ass kicked by some little random bird
I am in the Sofria Well and feel like I’m going to fight some Deer boss considering all the deer and moose men down here.
Give me a Blaidd statue/figure tbh, the good boi deserves it I've been cleaning up Limgrave and Liurnia as much as I can before fully hitting up Caelid and Altus Plateau, level 72 so overleved at this point for the first 2 areas but I'm sure the other two will give me a time. Still can't believe I bashed my head against Radahn at level 45 until I beat him lol
You’d be surprised! Very few. Numbers are not super final yet but it seems this game has above average retention.
At the very least most likely much higher retention than other Soulsborne games, if you get stuck on a boss or area you can just fuck off to find something new
lol wonder how many total deaths there have been at 12 million copies sold, doesn't seem unreasonable to suggest that there have been 1 billion total deaths.
Just beat it. Man, what a fucking journey. Stormveil castle feels like a century ago. I still have a ton of shit to do that I missed, and then I gotta get the other endings.
Morgott down! Difficulty of this game kinda feels all over the place. I imagine a lot of it is just how strong summons are (especially mimic tear) but I got smacked 30+ times by the gargoyle with the halberd, then one shot Godfrey and beat Morgott on my second real attempt (the first attempt I summoned mimic tear and then got hit before I could heal so died within 5 seconds). I'm sure I don't have my summon drawing fire and chipping away at their health and the boss fights are a lot harder. Might have to switch to using stuff other than the mimic just so the game preserves a bit of a challenge and only pull out the mimic when I wanna enter fuck you mode.
my mimic tear acts like a fucking idiot sometimes though so hopefully the “behavior pattern” changes that thing just using my useless items without fighting shit
