sooo redmane castlewas empty because the festivalstarted? my roommate said it was most certainly not for him
yeah I did that and started the fight. thought it was interesting that my roommate and I had a very different run up to the herald guy
I'm not exactly sure what triggers the festival starting, don't remember, but I believe depending on when you arrive you'll have to fight other bosses in the castle.
final attempt begins around 14 minutes. i thought my mic was off but somehow it got picked up when i screamed at the end
Redmane is filled with enemies and a dual boss fight if you go before a certain trigger in the game. If you hit the trigger the castle clears out and is only for the festival
I didn't/haven activate the grand lift before getting there and it was cleared out for me sans the two lion guys with swords that I was able to kill for a bunch of runes. I did, however, already make my way to the Altus Plateau by some other means. So maybe you just gotta get there? I also warped into the castle from elsewhere so idk
I thought the trigger for no enemies in the castle was progressing Ranni’s quest up to a certain point. Guess that’s not it lol
You can also do Redmayne normally after you beat Radahn and talk to Jerren. All the doors will unlock and the enemies will be back
journey 2 is really easy so far although i did notice the twinblade thing outside the bestial sanctum was a lot harder than it normally is but i steamrolled through margit and godrick at level 145. watching some journey 7 videos on youtube rn tho and its gonna get rough at some point lol. im just gonna b-line the story and start a new journey until i suddenly cant plow through the tree sentinel and then play like normal again haha
I think it says I’ve cleared around 25 bosses in the limgrave area so far. i cleared out like 5-6 bosses today so I consider that a success.
For whatever reason I can't seem to find another site of grace in the capital. You make good runes there so I'll get through the first bit, be looking around for a site of grace, die, get back, already be up near 40k runes, explore a bit more, realize I'm past a level up so teleport back rather than risk losing everything. Already repeated this process like three times now. Idk if I'm just blind or they are a lot rarer than other parts of the game there.
There's a bunch, it's also a very big level so it's possible you're constantly taking routes that just miss them
