I’ve been gone for three days but that’s what’s waiting for me when I get back. Only thing standing between me and NG+
is there any way to reclaim smithing stones? Or is respecing one of those "sure you can do it but it'll cost an exorbitant amount to get decent weapons" kinda things? cause like, would definitely be fun to experiment with other builds. But by my math its like, 120k runes in shop costs alone just to get the stones to level another weapon up to +12.
Not "get back" per se, but you can buy them for runes at the Twin Husks in the Roundtable Hold. Just gotta find the corresponding Ball Bearings and they'll show up in their shop.
right. But you need 12 stones of each type to get it all leveled up. So if you buy them all its like 120,000 just to get the first four sets of stones (haven't gotten the level 3 bearing yet to know what the 5/6 stones cost) plus the costs of the upgrades themselves Its doable if you really wanna change your build, but even running around squashing the little guys in the dragon burrow that is probably a couple of hours of game time.
I mean I am assuming you've also found plenty ;) god knows my inventory is littered with them. And don't worry, soon enough 120k runes won't seem that much! haha
I’m running dual hammers and have gone through a lot of mines but now I’m tryna level up the giant crusher I found and out of stones I didn’t pay for. Maybe I’m just missing some mines but looking at maps in think I’ve got most of them — seems like you only naturally get enough for maybe 3 fully level weapons. So I guess I’ll save trying different builds for the endgame
If I’m going for a faith build(and keep in mind I’m still taking my time and very early in the game) should I keep upgrading my finger seal or just wait for something better to cast with? I have 3 staffs already but I’m assuming that’s for INT builds

idk why its so dark. looks fine on my tv my basic gameplay strategy is to spam lb jump attacks. Currently doing 1k damage to most enemies which is enough to take down almost everything i'm coming across in the first attack.
