Just got Rogier’s Rapier and took out three bosses that I was having trouble with

 

Dat +8 will do that

 

That was my offhand before I switched my build, it’s quick attack is so good just a little pokey poke that staggers a lot

someone made a checklist of all the bosses so that’s what I’m using now. It does suck because it seems you have to create an account to actually use the checklist but that’s why I got throwaway emails.

 

I’ll probably use that for future play throughs but it was kind of fun to randomly come across shit and not really look up bosses my first time around. I actually never ended up seeing a single cemetery shade

 

Beat Radahn. Super fun boss concept. Did kinda feel that outside of getting a better handle at how not to get roasted at the start it was more a matter of getting lucky rather than getting good but whatever.

Astel was super annoying. Feel like I got lucky with my Mimic Tear on that one.

Last night started out ROUGH but ended up being one of my best runs so far with little effort.
-Picked up The Golden Scarab and Hoarfrost Stomp
-Beat the second Magma Wyrm
-Beat Rennala
-picked up a Larva tear so I can respec
-opened up a TON of the map

I feel like I’m definitely getting to a comfortable level where I don’t struggle all the time

 

Was worried I overleveled a bit much for where I’m at in the game, then got destroyed a bunch of times by the boss at Shaded Castle, so good to know all my dumb/careless mistakes will kind of balance out the leveling

 

Malenia… just no.

 

Their fascination with the letter “M” in naming things is intriguing.

 

Finally beat a black blade kindred

 

90 hours in, birds remain the hardest enemy in the game

 

I was watching a speed run and they went through a part of the storm veil castle that I didn’t even know existed so now I feel like I gotta go back and just search the whole damn castle.

i also know I need to get the wyrm down at the bottom.

 

A lot of these characters are related when you dive into the lore which is why names are so similar
