Classic sword/shield for me.

Might get magic down the line if I really need it lol.

Took me until just now to figure out how to 2 hand weapons smh

 

this game is just being abused by a japanese man you've never met.

 

I’m going muscle wizard, str/int

 

Went Battlemage, and even though ive pumped my INT a good bit, the starter spells dont do anything to the bosses.

 

tried to play some after I got home from turnstile, realized I was too drunk

 

Man I wanna go home and play, there's so much to explore!

 

Sword/shield when I get it. I used to love the spear but then it got too slow in DS2 so I switched to straight sword/long sword

 

I’m 9 hours in and still haven’t beaten the first official boss haha. Just constantly exploring

 

I pulled the trigger on the first game in years at launch. I’m essentially grinding in the first area for XP. I have a mace and feel like a boss using it! Haha

 

Although, it requires a lot of stamina to use.

 

I’ve been 2 handing a greatsword and really enjoying it. The greatsword also performa great on the mount. I’m still just wandering and trying to find stuff. Having such a blast. What a unique experience, I can’t wait to see whats in store.

@I Am Mick I also want to focus on STR/INT. What class did you start at and how have you allocated the stats?

 

I’m going to be all about this. I never can go full magic build because too often I Leroy Jenkins it, but I do like the option for it.

 

I started as Wretch, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do at the time but seeing my friend being pretty OP with magic made me start investing points into int. Basically going heavy on End, Str and End. It took me hours to find a staff I could actually use haha

 

Endurance is key in these games

 

I also found the first boss and it’s going to be a fun one.

 

I literally just happened to find a NPC that teaches sorcery, so yeah now I need a damn staff.

 

The spirits are money

 

Anyone know what the blue lights are on the map?

 

if you go way south of The Cave of Knowledge, past the Bridge of Sacrifice, you'll find a set of ruins called "demi human ruins" or something. There's a big enemy there that drops one you can use.

 

Ah okay cool, I actually just crossed the bridge a little while ago and i'm wandering in that south area.

 

Is Vagabond a good class for a Souls newcomer?

 

it all depends on how you like to play, they're all viable. just know classes don't really matter, it's just what you're starting stats will be.
