I'm up to the first boss after you get the mount and this is already amazing.

 

Man I fucking suck at the mount combat, just miss almost every time, not sure when I need to swing.

 

Got wrecked by the first boss so thought I'd try somewhere else, got teleported to a different area that was super hard and got wrecked so I went in a different direction, came across another boss which is currently wrecking me.

It's good to be back.

 

Played for about 4 hours, went to get lunch and came back to my PS5 turned off. No saved game.

No way. Isn’t there some sort of autosave at bonfires?

also I find these games the hardest at the beginning when your character is weak af

 

there should be. no sign of any saved game on my console though, looked for ages. Starting again now but haven't even got enough time left today to catch up to where I was. :/

 

have you switched versions accidentally? from PS4 to PS5?

seems like it's happened to a few people and I've started a new game and while it's saying it's autosaving there was still no saved data on my console, I had to manually quit out and save the game for it to create it. strange.

Yeah it's annoying, switched to a female character and just going in a different direction now so at least I don't have to do the exact same shit right now lol.

 

One of my friends playing this on PC had his game close out on him after a bit yesterday and he had to start over from scratch. I think it’s running better now, though.

 

I decided I am taking it as slow as possible.

found the first boss already but I am going to explore the first area proper first and good god the systems just don't stop coming.

 

So many bosses tucked away everywhere lmao. Love it

We have a pretty bad snowstorm right now so I am just waiting for them to let us leave the office so I can start my journey

 

Beat one random boss on the map and got a better sword than I had my first game so that's a plus. I can't remember where I found the map though so I need to find that again lol.

 

Has anyone found any good STR weapons besides a long sword?

I’m decently far in and I feel like I haven’t found any.

 

yeah I found a huge ass Hellbard but it requires 36 STR lol

So what builds y’all going for? Still leaning on a one handed weapon/magic caster role tho not sure what class that will be. Amazon should be delivering my game today
