I know the first part of it starts in Stormveil castle down in the basement where you discover the death of the NPC you can summon alongside you to fight Margit. They later show up at the Roundtable. It furthers continues with the “hug” girl and sending you to fight the black knights. That’s one part of essentially a 10 part quest.

Beat Godrick on my second try (first try after doing it once, getting stomped, then deciding to come back later). Think I was probably a bit over leveled (~50) but whatevs squashing stuff is more fun than getting squashed.

Now i've upgraded my hammer so its doing A tier strength, plus the thing that makes your jump attacks do more damage is a lot of fun. Doing like 500 damage a hit to a lot of guys.

Finished Rannis quest. What a babe. That quest alone took me longer than some AAA games

Last day has been productive for me. I’ve taken out a lot of the bosses in Limgrav and Margit was taken out fairly easily after leveling up. I’m now up to lvl 45. The goal is to find better armor soon.

I was teleported to Farum Greatbridge and have been mining the creatures who are 1k.

Yeah i’m almost level 50 now and still have some basic armour, need to change it soon. Also, trying to find smithing stones (1) after farming the tunnels and statue feels neigh impossible.

Trying to level my second sword up and it’s taking forever. I’m close to my first sword almost being on 3, whilst the claymore is still on 1!

as much as i love this game i gotta disagree with people who say theres nothing copy pasted about this open world. im on my fourth erdtree avatar and they all have the same move set. all the catacombs and caves have the same assets and layout. im not complaining or even criticizing here but it definitely has a lot of things going on that are typical of open world games

With a game this massive it’s bound to happen

  18. Yeah. They copy/paste a LOT of bosses and dungeons. There's 4 Erdtree Avatars. Three of those Night Chivalry bosses on the horse. Two of those dark blade assassins.

Some bosses are paired up in late game dungeons so you have to fight them 2 on 1. Ones you've already killed in Limgrave but on steroids.

All the catacombs are set up pretty similar (which I don't mind. Skyrim was a lot like that too and it never bothered me)

The back-half of the game is really good with mixing it up. You finally start seeing a lot more enemies, completely different bosses etc.

it definitely doesnt bother me but so many people are acting like this game is devoid of anything any other open world game does and its simply not true. the game is actually remarkably similar to skyrim in its open world design but a lot of people arent ready for that convo (i for one love it as i fucking love skyrim to this day)

Crystalians suck shit. Fighting three of them that cause rot is legitimately a shitty boss fight

I think the fact that stuff is similar actually helps. Means you know what to expect when you enter a catacomb / mine / ruin / whatever so you don't get overwhelmed. And then they can find interesting ways to subvert that expectation.
