Astel is another bitch of a boss, tons of health and super annoying to hit. Then he's got this one hit ko move that I swear is sometimes just impossible to dodge and has killed me three times when he must have had one or two hits left.
lol I fucked up big last night and stumbled into that double pumpkin head boss room. Lets just say I'm now 8k runes poorer.
when should you balance leveling up vs. strengthening armaments? just do the armaments once you have smithing stones?
upgrading your weapons will do much more for your damage output than any stat upgrade. also, don't be the cool guy, upgrade your vigor. no shame haha
Yeah, I got my vigor, strength and endurance all up to 19 already I think, might level up my dexterity next because a weapon I want to get requires like 16 of the stat.
I found the Claymore, which I've seen mentioned here a few times. Worth leveling up? I mainly two-hand my longsword.
Personally i'm not a fan of the move set, the R2 is a thrust and i'm more of a fan of the big sideways swing for an R2. Deff a solid sword tho.
That's what I'm gonna be dual wielding with my greatsword haha, looks like it's got better base stats than the longsword so I'd say so
Claymore is good yeah but like @oldjersey I prefer the swing. If you’re looking for similar try the Bastard Sword. You can buy it off a merchant in the weeping peninsula. Similar to Claymore but better scaling on STR if you’re going that way.
Actually, no. I’m gonna use that cerulean tear cheese with magic and turn Radahn into a pancake. Then respec and just do a Radahn cosplay and dupe his weapons with the monuments.
scarlet rot. Use rotten breath on him twice and it will fly through his health to the next phase. Then use it twice again and it’ll kill him. Just keep distance and summoning and he’ll die without you having to attack again
