Made it to Godrick. Was like "hrm this fight isn't actually going as badly as I expected yes my summon is gone and the ally thing died but I have him nearly down to half health and have only used a couple of flasks. maybe with a few tries I can... oh. shit" time to go off and grind for a ton more levels
Finished my Series X play through earlier. Started a character on the PS5. Just killed Godrick. Went mage this time but will probably respec after the academy to pure STR or some shit.
Man. Magic feels so cheesy in this game. I kinda regret not using it my first play through. You just kill everything
That's why I don't like it. I did that for the Demon's Souls remake and it kinda killed the fun for me after a while.
i just spent upwards of an hour just running around the alteus plateau grabbing graces and the map fragment up in the volcano, which was an absolute BITCH to get to. found a whole bunch of side shit to do tho to level up and im not even done with everything i wanted to get done down on the lake. plus i could swing over to caelid and knock more out, i was there earlier to snag the half of the medallion for the lift. so many options and so much to cover on this map that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. the locales are getting more unique and otherworldly too, limgrave is great but it def had more typical epic fantasy trappings to it, shit is just getting weird in caelid and the alteus plateau especially up in that volcano.
This is why I want to respec. But I find melee more fun. This is kinda the first time I’m going all in on STR
Sick. I’m constantly wow’d by how beautiful the art style in this is. Bloodborne still my favourite in terms of style but this is awesome. The underground areas are gorgeous.
I really gotta find new armour. There's also 10 levels in Faith and Arcane I gotta respec. Added them cause I wanted to try out a spell.
Anyone been to the lake of rot? Is there anything worthwhile down there and is there a good way to traverse it?
