It’s funny not knowing I passed one of those statues and when it asks you if you want to go back to one: HELL YES!
I’m probably making the game way harder for me since I’m rolling with literally no armor and I’m one handing my uchigatana but I’m on Margit and this fun as hell
Renalla was the furthest. Unless I missed one. But there was the shortcut that led to the lift past the sorcerers.
I either two hand it or dual wield it with another sword I found. Every now and then I’ll whip out a shield but not often. I also found these claws that are fun to use as my off hand too
Achievement data is always interesting to me. this boss is EXTREMELY tucked away and difficult. Where as this boss is a joke and not nearly as hidden but less players have killed it
I got invaded three times last night and fucked them all up no problem lol. I’m telling you the unsheathe on the katana is unstoppable and I won’t be using any ashes of war on it until I find one that upgrades the unsheathe attack
I’m going to look up the ratios on those achievements. By the way there are four separate achievement/Trophy lists for this game if you are a masochist. Lol
imagine the unsheathe but making enemies bleed with it btw I'm STILL using katanas this far into the game. i messed around with different stuff but went to respec back to dex/katanas. its a fucking blast and scales so well
currently rocking two katanas, uchi and the nagakiba. bleed on one and keen on the other. still looking for some dex armor. there's some armor that increases STR and faith. imagine there's some for dex somewhere.
can you eventually respec at some point? I like my hulk orc that just smashes everything, but definitely would be fun to try different builds without needing to start over
I got margit down to THE in his name and then I screwed up but ugh I’m so addicted I don’t even want to go back and level up some more I wanna do it at my current state the fact I finally learned how to properly dodge roll has helped out a bunch
if you can get him down to that low you can do it, i wouldnt bother going out to the world until you kill him because youre right there. when i had an attempt that close i killed him the next try edit: yep i was basically right where youre at
Margit (and Godrick) is a great opening test. They're very tough but is a great test and learning experience for your rolling and dodging.
i found the bloody slash one, is that what youre talking about? or is there literally an ability thats unsheathe with bleed because blood slash is different but i havent tested if its as powerful
i know its been mentioned that the difficulty curve spikes quite a bit later on but if i was able to get margit am i at least not like totally hopeless in maybe finishing the main game?
yeah bloody slash, you take a bit of your own health every use of it but on top of doing wild damage it also has an increased bleed modifier.
3rd demigod gave me fits (and according to twitter/reddit, many many others) but I've found all mainline bosses to be perfectly fine otherwise up to this point and I'm about 75% done with the main story. Some of the side bosses later on are absolutely insane. But not required
ahh yeah i currently have that on my offhand sword (falchion i think?) and if i ever wanna use it just switch that to 2 hand
