I was facing that troll or whatever that was as soon as you walk into the castle and it gave me attack on titan vibes to all my anime fans.

i also lucked out I hit a perfect crit and I managed to do like 700 damage on him in one slice of my uchigatana.

 

Second legacy dungeon is cool but fuuck I am not set up for defence against magic.

 

Yeah, I don’t find Parry as useful in ER.

 

i swear getting up the steps to the door was the hardest part of the game so far.

 

I died against the mini boss because I hit the wrong button and it’s probably the first time in any Souls game where I was really worried about the run back to the boss. Not looking forward to the rest of it. Shame because the location itself is awesome.

 

he fell down the elevator shaft when i was fighting him

 

Yeah getting multiple magic users shooting at you at once is a fucking pain.

i go back to a grace and come back and wham he’s right there again and I’m like fml.

and yet the cutscene began as soon as I walked through a door lol

 

is there a grace site closer to godrick that I’m missing? the closest one is up in the tower and by the time I just b-line to him I’m usually down on health and a flask charge

 

You can pretty much almost guarantee some sort of boss fight walking through a fog wall.

 

Yeah, that’s a long hike.

 

if you get prompted to “traverse the mist” it’s always gonna be a boss fight haha same thing happened to me

 

lol next thing I know I go up the hill and a giant like iron giant looking thing with an insane range just ko me and I was like welp

Lol every time I get down by the boss room I’ve got like ten enemies tailing me so I’ve been missing it

 

yah dude there is one right before his fog door, if youre looking at the fog door it's on the right side.

 

There’s a site like directly outside of Godrick in a little side room.

 

word I knew I had to be missing it lol there’s no way you have to do that long of a walk back to the boss room

 

Unlike other FromSoft games, there’s a Grace before every demigod (that I’ve beaten anyway. So first 4 at least)

sometimes you gotta look a little. But it’s a good change

 

Yeah I love how close the sites/statues are. Makes retrying bosses way more fun.
