I need a solid 4-5 hour span to dig my teeth into this, can’t pick up and play for 45 min at a time or whatever
making sure you arent carrying a lot of runes really takes the pressure off dying and the game becomes so much more enjoyable
that's the one thing I had to learn initially in my first From game. spend souls/echoes/runes asap. makes the game so much less frustrating between bosses
it's the same reason i don't take my phone with me when i go kayaking. if i tip over i have nothing to lose
this happens way too often to me and I'm still not exactly sure what I'm pressing to cause it to happen lol.
Mounted combat is actually exhilarating. The mounted boss fights (dragon, two horse bros) so far were so so fun
Clicking the left stick does it! Naturally, when things get intense I grip the controller harder and of course that makes me click the left stick as I'm trying to maneuver at the same time.
They should make dismounting and sneaking double click some games have clench protection I don’t know how that works but I’ve been pressing that left stick more often than I’d like
Still very early in the game, should I keep trying to learn how to parry or am I wasting my time? The window is so fucking small. Too much Sekiro on the brain
it took me like five minutes to learn how to beat them but god damn walking into a room and not knowing they were there and then jumping on me gave me legit nightmares
