Have a feeling Mr. Radahn will join a very short list of bosses that FromSoft actually patches to make it more accessible.

The fight, in theory, is fine. I guess. But when attack frames are faster than what the players iframes can handle, that’s a problem.

I basically used the second or so you are practically invincible when mounting to cheese some of his wild ass combos.

This NPC fight in the study hall is horse. You shouldn’t be allowed to teleport in the middle of casting a spell that one shots people

 

beat my first "okay that's too hard lets come back to it later" boss today!

that being said, the feeling of getting one hit away from killing a boss, then fucking up and dying, and then needing to spend another 20-30 minutes to kill the thing is not a fun experience for me.

 

I’m level 31 and just beat the pumpkin dude and it took a ton of tries and I only did it by spamming spells at him.

my melee combat skills are so brutal. Part of it is I’m just too greedy and try to get 2-3 attacks in when I should get one and get out of close range. But a bigger part of us is that I just suck so bad.

 

yeah its so tempting to just get more damage in. especially when you're near full health. but then you can quickly get knocked back down

I feel like I should try some ranged stuff. but jumping on people with a giant hammer swing is just so much fun. need to find a bigger hammer though. mine doesn't even have a fancy name

That’s where the Gargoyles are and a fairly easy mini boss

The Gargoyles are sneaky and can gang up on you like the dogs or rats.

 

X being to jump and triangle being the interact button is the worst possible thing for me

 

im about 8 hours play time in and as some of you may know ive never played another fromsoft game in my life. after my introduction to elden ring, i really want to try the dark souls series and sekiro next. and, if it ever comes to PC, bloodborne of course. but im falling in love with the world of elden ring very quickly and would love to see what made this studio so well loved.

 

I predict Elden Ring will cause a nice in boost in sales amongst From’s other titles.

 

Once you get to that point how does it effect combat?

 

I’m at end tree burial watchdog and the fact we have a crouch option now is killing me because I keep accidentally pressing it
