Seek both pieces of the medallion to go north to the capital. Or East to Caelid. regardless, try to level up a good bit. Difficulty spike is about to be insane
Paying attention in lecture is impossible when I know I would rather be dying 100 times to a non-boss before giving up and going elsewhere.
Anyone know if this is at all worth playing on ps4? I dont have any plans to get a ps5 at present and while I won't get this for a while anyway, the fomo is real.
The ps4 version is super solid. Locked 30 fps. Grass is a bit uglier than on next gen. Parity otherwise.
Ps5 owners should also be playing the ps4 version but no one here is ready for that conversation :3 trade pretty grass and a few pixels for locked 60fps
I very much caught up last night to where I was when I lost my progress, beat Godrick again, and started exploring the next area. I beat a couple of those tree bosses and they drop those crystal tears you can mix in the physick flask for buffs. That thing is fuckin cool.
I've haven't had many frame rate issues on PS5 and the ones I have had are usually just riding the mount in the overworld so not that big of a deal. Even then it's only a slight stutter.
granted I've not been able to play this for very long at all but I'm struggling to get the appeal. maybe I just fucking suck at this game. feel like there are so many systems at play that are barely explained
Yeah if you’ve never played a soulsborne theres a steep learning curve. There are tons of videos on youtube that can teach you and you can always ask questions here. it takes a while to get used to but once you do it becomes quite incredible.
I had never played a Soulsborne game until about a week ago, when I started Bloodborne. I've been going back and forth between that and this since Friday. This is much more difficult, but I feel like it's because I got used to the Bloodborne gameplay style right beforehand, and I didn't have experience with any of the other Soulsborne games.
I don’t really know how summoning works but I just got brought to somebody’s game and took down a guy in a cave with them, I’m assuming that enemy isn’t actually felled in my game right? Also, should I be hanging out/grinding Limgrave overworld before heading into the Catacombs or is that something that can be done pretty early game?
There are a few little caves around Limgrave that are very doable early on. They'll also get you better prepared for the mechanics and style of play you'll need to use as you move further along.
The Catatombs was manageable for me when I completed it. I believe I was around lvl15-18 at the time.
