Already beat Rad/EB. Just entered into the DLC and i feel like the entire first dungeon (with the dancing lion) is full of big ass critters. Luckily I can one hit kill the critters, so I was able to survive by squinting my eyes and bashing rb
So Romina was a real pushover. I had more trouble with the Bloodfiend elite near the Sword of Light altar, mostly because of the rot dogs. Maybe she was meant to give us a breather between Messmer and Enir-Ilim.
Genichiro was a huge wall for me. Owl Father was too! Genichiro was like 3 days trying to be him. It made me really good though. I spent more time on him than Sword Saint. The feeling of beating that last phase with the lightning was amazing.
Finished the DLC and then the main game last night. Consort Radhan was a pain in the ass so I re-specd to a build I saw on Reddit with one of the heavy shields. Basically just eat damage and poke away at him with a spear. After playing through the DLC my character was lvl 180 so the final boss was a breeze. 10/10 one of the best games ever. Don’t know what to do with myself now. jk it’s armored core time
At Consort Radahn! He’s facking tough. Probably just 6-7 attempts thus far but my last one I had him down to like 20%
i have gotten Radahn (how fucking cool is it how they brought him back) down to second phase exactly once in my dozen or so tries and have barely laid a scratch on him since what the FUCK Fromsoft
After Radahn I really want Demons Souls 2. I want simplified boss fights. Shit where I can see the boss and not compete with a fog of over the top effects. I’m glad Miyazaki has already said they won’t try to top Elden Ring for a while
Keep grinding you’ll eventually fly through phase 1 while barely taking a hit. phase 2 requires some god like reflexes and a stroke of luck but you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel eventually
Dodging into him in phase 1 leaves more openings to whack at him than diving away btw but I highly suggest a scarlet rot damage over time spell lol
Just took down Romina. Had my buddy Dane along side me. That girl goes down quick with bleed weapons.
I have started another playthrough and basically Pest-Thread Spears is the new GOAT incantation for me. I am not even specced into Faith all that much (DEX+ARC build this time) but it just absolutely shreds everything, has unbelievable tracking and I swear at times it even hits an enemy, goes through them, loops around and hits them again?!
I actually saw a guide that mentioned that incantation and it says the threads hit every part of the boss geometry so on larger enemies it’ll go through the body then hit the limbs etc
Phase 2 of the final boss was insane and I didn't like that it started once he was down to like 75% of his health. I always tried to proc a bleed or frost when he was close to the phase change just to make his health bar a tiny bit smaller for it lol. I'm now excited to take these DLC weapons back into the main game. Backhand Blades (+Frost) is my new main and I've also been liking Eleonora's Poleblade when I need some bleed.
I need to finish Starfield so I can start Shadow of the Erdtree. Cannot wait to get obliterated as I reacquaint myself with the controls. I’d love to do NG+ first but don’t have the time to commit to a full play through at the moment.
Since I beat DeS last week I figured its time to actually finish Shadow. Took me two whole 6hr sessions of grinding it out but I finally beat the final boss. I swear I had well over 100 attempts. Mf was a pain to say the least and really not that satisfying once you get to the second phase. The light/holy aoe chipped me down every attempt and frankly I only managed to beat him with a rot proc from my mimic. Loved the initial fight in phase one. Felt wayyyy more fair and manageable even though i'd get my ass rocked in phase 1 half the time due to some of those crazy combos.
Because I can't quit this fucking game I started a torch only run I beat Godrick, I think I'm going to rush to Altus so I can fight Radahn next
@Fucking Dustin have you played Black Myth since it’s kind of soulslike or is it forbidden to talk about on Chorus? Lol
It is being treated as forbidden to talk about but no I haven't played it and don't really have interest in it for those reasons, I don't blame anyone who does play it but I don't personally want to
Yeah, I absolutely understand. I have no plans to play it but thought that maybe you could have played it.
Nothings forbidden to talk about but if you can’t handle criticism for supporting questionable developers then don’t publicly talk about it. If you can then go for it
