Commander Gaius was a wall for me. Had to summon and that person helped demolish him with scarlet rot. Some of the spells the people I summon have are hugely powerful compared to my Maliketh’s black blade melee build

 

I use a mix of malikeths black blade and very strong faith incantations like scarlet aeonia that’s how I beat consort radahn actually

 

There was at least 1 fight recently where I busted out a rotten meat dumpling into a bolus

 

I burnt through some rune arcs and marikas blessing as I started to realize I was within reach of radahn

 

What’re your stats?? I feel like I respecced but my intelligence is still too high from when I was using the sword of night and flame as my main build.

 

My 2 year old was watching me fight the Godskin Noble the other day and when he did the move where he puts a ring of blackfire around himself, she quietly said 'real big fart'

 

65 vigor 30 mind 35 endurance 48 strength 49 faith 16 dex and then baseline int and arc I believe was what I ended the game (DLC) with

Totally missed Ralva. Went back and got his pelt. Also cleared a lot of the extra levels above specimen storeroom. Except that one item that’s above a lift. Hmmmm

 

I went back to the storeroom like three times before I discovered everything there lol

 

Yeah, Elden Ring is in my top 3 games ever. Every time I play it, it begs for my attention and I am just in awe of how fantastic it is. Even when I beat the dlc I’ll probably fuck around maxing out all the cool weapons.

I have been hunting/farming for rare items the past few days, and I have been really enjoying it even despite the fact you are just killing the same enemies over and over again until they drop what you are looking for. There are not many games that can keep peoples attention like that IMO - I was hunting something with a 1% drop rate earlier and I got two within 3 tries, I absolutely flipped. Game is goated to an almost unprecedented degree

 

Kinda bummed I just started using the dragon lightning strike when I’m near the end. That shit rocks.

Woo hoo! I just respecced to a faith/strength build to use the black blade so this is right up my alley!
