I played a bit of Dark Souls 3 last night and god do I miss invasions, I wish Elden Ring let you invade solo players and they didn't need to use Taunters Tongue to result in that Fighting off someone who just randomly showed up is so fun to me and co-op makes it a lot less fun
Dancing Lion down also the beast claws rock. Respecced to a Str/Arc build with Bloody beast claws + talismans that increase damage on: successive hits, AoW skills, and when causing hemorrhage. Been pretty fun so far
Since beating Elden Ring, I've started level 1 runs on Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Beaten 4 bosses across the 4 games so far. Am I a fool for doing it this way? Perhaps...
Got a nice ash of war from the black knight in fort reprimand. Took it and put it on milady so I could turn that weapon into a sacred milady for my faith boi. Also put horfrost stomp on the beast claws but didn’t realize it turns it into an int scale weapon
Got the dragon great sword from the ancient dragon man boss in the dragon pit dungeon. Was a really cool dungeon and the ash of war on the sword is awesome. Also got invaded right by the boss door. Was a crazy cqc fight. Looks like the giant door you open after the boss leads to the coast area?
I stopped progressing in the DLC because I wanted to go get a better stamina boosting talisman and it was at the Haligtree which I hadn’t done yet. Can I just say it’s a little silly that you just have to know to switch actions to hoist the correct medallion to activate the grand lift of rold to take you to the consecrated snowfield. Idk how I ever would have known that lol. Maybe I missed something? Or was this maybe a thing in old souls games? Wound up googling that pretty quickly. Anyway Now I’m getting my shit rocked and losing all my runes in the snowfield and then running clean off a cliff trying to retrieve them. Reached the Haligtree, ran down one of the branches and died to a big spider. Called it a night there. Love this game.
Yeah I did see that. It was also just wanting to complete more of the main game first before getting my shit rocked by the final DLC boss over and over again.
Had better success helping people today. Beat bayle and the second dancing lion. Was a single tick away from death blight half the fight tho lmao
Been dumping all of my spare time into this damn game and loving every minute of it. Took down Messmer last night and Gaius today, among other bosses. I made a few runs at Bayle before deciding to work through Enir-Ilim, so that's where I'm at now.
Omfg this lightning guy at the start of Enir is pissing me off I’m not going to have a good time lmao
Commander Gaius is beating me BAD. Trying it on foot with no summons to “learn his attacks” and what I have learned is, his attacks are bullshit lol. Same with the hippo, the hitbox for some of the boar charges is questionable at best Edit: got him, after about 30 deaths lol.
ok Shaman Village is my fav area in the whole game for sure. The map design + the music is just fantastic
