Beat Maliketh, all I have left is the Haligtree, the endgame bosses and some of the underground stuff I left unexplored. And just about level 150 so I think I’m ready to start the DLC
Hell ya, good to know. I wanted to get through the Haligtree and some other stuff before starting, getting stomped by Malenia still, otherwise having a lot of fun with this Int/Dex build
Yeah I’ve done everything but the capital sewers and I’m 148. Just about ready just need the money to buy it haha
After how amazing Friede, Gael, and Kos were, this one really feels like they were just like “okay fuck off” haha Right now I really hate it but ima go back with a different character soonish to see if I like it more
I've been stuck on it for a few days but I am still enjoying my time generally. Only gotten to the second phase 6 or 7 times so it's still going to be a while for me. Think Ill take a break to collect the remaining scadu fragments
Malenia down after like 20 tries, let’s goooooo! Shoutouts the guy I summoned for help, neither of us did anything to cheese her, so it was still pretty tough and fun
Got Romina second try! Used the gold summon sign to bring in Dryleaf Dane, hilarious watching him hand-to-hand fight her lol
You can summon Dryleaf for that??? I did not do that damn haha. I like summoning all the NPCs for the lore/dialogue Though I guess his is probably just "..."
Beat the final boss. I used Rolling Spark spirit ash which is currently ridiculously overpowered. I expect a nerf for that coming very soon
Okay, fuck the second Dancing Lion, apparently 4 different elements was not enough that they gave it fucking Death too, those stupid little frog things coming in is so LAME! Yeah he is available outside the fog gate, I have not done too much of the NPC stuff so far so perhaps at some point you can be locked out of him helping you there depending on progression. Zero dialogue so he is just a damage sponge lol
The thing mentioned above is something I missed until I watched walkthrough to see what I missed after clearing haha Yeah I never saw him. I did a quest where you do a gesture to him and it results in a 1v1 against him so I wonder if that kept him from appearing
I definitely did that fight too, so I think once you start taking sides with Leda and/or choosing to aid her at those random summon signs in Shadow Keep, that might be what prevents the gold sign appearing
I don't think I took the side with that person but I also don't know half of what I did honestly lmao Also entirely possible I just never saw the summon sign
i'm a newer elden ring player (started last week) and just got through the academy. I absolutely hate games with spiders / big insect enemies and have quit games due to them (even hollow knight lol). Are there any areas with large spiders or insects I should be aware of? I didn't see any settings that would tune down graphics for them.
Don't play the DLC I can say that much haha, it has hybrid spider/scorpions and weird bugpeople things There are some areas in the base game with large ants too, off the top of my head the Haligtree, the Deeproot Depths, and Ainsel river/Nokstella
damn, I was getting really excited for the DLC. I've seen the hands and thought I might be able to push through that. I'm not liking the idea of hybrid spider or scorpions though.
Yeah and I could be wrong since it's early on in DLC exploration but I'm pretty sure those are unskippable enemies as well, you can't really navigate to the end of the DLC without running into em
Not exactly insects but stay tf away from Carian Manor too if you dont want to see some nightmare fuel
