I just saw patch notes that they (regular game spoiler not DLC) added the ability to use Torrent during Elden Beast

 

At first I was like, did they push it back a day? But apparently that's the Japanese release date.

 

Elphael is hard af lol. I could just run to Malenia but I wanted to explore a little bit. Area is no joke. Probably lost 20,000 runes at least

I respec’d my character last night into a faith/str to use Blasphemous Blade to start the DLC. Even as I fully upgraded it I said they’ll probably nerf this tomorrow, and they fucking did.

just like when I fully maxed out my lightning zwei in Dark Souls 1 only for them to massively nerf it the next day. Just like they nerfed crystal ring shield as soon as I started using it

I’m cursed

 

I'm deeply afraid any and all parts of my kit will have been nerfed over the last year.

 

The safest thing to do is use the Claymore in every game made by From Software

I'm really torn on jumping into the DLC tomorrow or starting NG+ and then playing through the DLC as part of that playthrough. Them making Torrent accessible in the Elden Beast fight is one of the sticking points since I love the idea of him being there for the last battle with me lmao

I re-spec'd and I think I am going Dex/Arcane with Eleonora's pole blade

 

Arcane daggers on console, strength dual colossals on PC

 

They nerfed blasphemous blade just fell to my knees at Costco

Defeating the Elden Beast for the first time today then I’m jumping into the DLC

Elden beast kicking my ass tho

 

The first remembrance boss I fought in the DLC is immediately one of my favorites in ER
